I absolutely love long weekends. Don't you?
Friday night, I hung out with my potential future little. (Keep your fingers crossed--I love her!!) We watched How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and grabbed frozen yogurt at an adorable place in Lexington called Naticakes.

Naticakes supports the Natalie Wynn Carter Foundation, which is "dedicated to improving the lives of children around the world." (from their website)
For my Lexington ladies, Naticakes is a lot like OrangeLeaf, but the proceeds go to a great cause so I don't have to feel guilty about treating myself!
Saturday I went shopping with some of my sisters. I picked up quite a few things at Forever 21, including this dress, which I can't wait to wear! (To Keeneland, possibly??)
That night, I went out with a bunch of my sisters.
Here we are at my friend's apartment before going out!
Sunday, I got up early and went home to Louisville to spend time with my family.
As soon as I got home, I got the news about my future niece/nephew from my post below.
I spent quite a bit of time talking to my sister and catching up.
I wish we saw each other more often!
I also made an impromptu trip to TJMaxx, where I hit the Lilly Pulitzer jackpot. I was shocked because our TJMaxx hardly ever carries Lilly! I can't wait to use these as gifts for friends.
Today, I spent time relaxing, helped my grandma make chicken salad (my favorite!), grilled out with my family, and worked on making Lilly Pulitzer binder covers for all of my classes.

After dinner, I came back to Lexington to get ready for class tomorrow.
Overall, it was a wonderful, relaxing weekend. I'm proud of myself because I've gone running for the past three days. I hate when I get out of running consistently, and I'm trying to get back into it. Hold me to that, please!

ReplyDeleteAhh can't believe you found all those fun Lilly things at TJMaxx!! I see Lilly clothing there every now and then (never in my size), but will have to go searching to see if mine got in any accessories as well!

ReplyDeleteWOW! You really racked up on the Lilly stuff. We never have it at our TJ Maxx either, but I did manage to find a few things this weekend. I got the sticky notes in Desert Tort, dessert plates, a pen, and a cute bowl (not sure what I'll do with it!)
