Happy August!

I've been waiting for this day for a month now!
I reinforced the monthly tabs using tape. I definitely recommend covering them in some way so they don't get torn up.
In a moment of adventurousness, I painted my nails this bright turquoise color. After a patient told me that her 7-year-old granddaughter would love them, I decided that it wasn't for me.
I won this adorable bracelet from Chelsea through Neely's blog, and I absolutely love it! So far I haven't gotten very adventurous (I've only worn it with a navy dress), but I can't wait to try it out with other outfits. If you haven't checked out Chelsea's Etsy shop yet, you definitely should.

For the next two weeks, I'm going to be spending a lot of time on the road. I have to be in Lexington one day, Louisville the next, I'm taking a CPR class, and attending my orientation. The pharmacy school nervousness has set in. (Did I mention that I already have homework? Medical terminology is not for sissies.)

I am the same way with really bright nail polish, it can be on trend, but if it doesn't make me feel mature, then it isn't right!
ReplyDeleteI rarely polish my fingernails, no matter how hard I try, they always chip. I tend to stick to the pinks/reds for my toes. I guess I'm boring there!
ReplyDeleteAll the buzz about the agendas almost makes me wish I'd chosen an academic planner. I decided to try the monthly version this year, and it doesn't start until January.
I am a crazy weirdo and LOVED my med-term class! I am such a nerd, but I had a blast learning all of the different words haha.
ReplyDeleteAnd obviously I am so excited to have been able to start using my Lilly planner this week! My favorite time of the year is going through and putting all of the important dates and events (and all of my teams' football schedules, duh) in it!
best of luck with all your studying! I love my new Lilly planner! Feeling a lot more organized already!
ReplyDeleteI love the bracelet you won!! Pink and Orange are always fabulous together. Also, I never thought about covering the Lilly tabs with tape. Such a great idea, because they do get folded a lot.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your studying! I love the August Lilly pattern!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the shout out! SO glad you like the bracelet!! Hoping you find some more cute outfits to wear it with ;) Good luck with everything while on the road! Kick that CPR test's booty :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful bracelet!! I love it! I also painted my nails turquoise and I feel like a little kid... haha. Good luck studying!
ReplyDeleteI love that bracelet!! I might just have to go get one myself :) love your blog by the way, now following!

I love the bracelet! I love some Lilly for organization and good luck on all of your homework/studying!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of reinforcing with tape! I must do that when I get my new agenda... I hate when the tabs turn up and look horrible after a few months!
